International Human Rights Instruments
Our work is informed by the 9 core human rights treaties and their Optional Protocols.[1]
-
International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination
-
International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
-
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women
-
Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
-
International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance

We place a particular emphasis on the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the CRC Optional Protocols. The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the only international human right treaty to directly address illicit drugs and psychotropic substances.
